Welcome to the ICN!

As a core part of the activities carried out within the Institute of Nuclear Sciences (ICN-UNAM), hundreds of undergraduates, masters, and doctoral students, besides several postdoctoral researchers, circulate within our facilities. Each one of you represent the new generation of scientist in the making, who in the near future will be responsible for conducting basic and applied research, and teaching activities that will set the tone of the scientific and technological development in Mexico.
To support the activities carried out by the Institute researchers, in the late 90s, the Teaching and Human Resources Unit was created. Its main objective is to centrally address issues related to academic and administrative matters required for the development of their research. Thanks to our Teaching Unit, it is possible that they will be able to integrate and adapt to our academic entity, promoting at all times a sense of institutional identity and permanency in this excellent university institute.
Our mission is to help them have the appropriate conditions to develop their research work with the highest quality possible.
