International Conference on Topics on Astroparticle and Underground Physics (TAUP'09), Rome, Italy, July 1-5, 2009

The conference was originally planned at the Gran Sasso Laboratory, but moved to Rome after the April 6th 2009 earthquake which affected the town of L'Aquila.

I gave a parallel talk on the work with my colleague J.C. D'Olivo, on using the Magnus expansion approximation to solve the evolution equation of a neutrino propagating through matter with varying density, and its applications to solar and supernova neutrino oscillations.
