Precision Constraints on New Particles

While the Standard Model of Elementary Particle Physics is well established, a vital ingredient, the Higgs boson, has not been found, yet. Beyond the minimal model, there may a fourth generation of quarks and leptons, or there may be gauge interactions beyond the electromagnetic, weak and strong ones. In this seminar, I will summarize the implications of precision electroweak physics for each of these classes of hypothetical particles.
