Noncommutative geometry and applications in Physics

We examine the possibility of obtaining a metric from a noncommutative algebra and we calculate explicitly the curvature. Moreover, we examine strict deformation quantization, known by the name of Rieffel deformations, in the context of Quantum Mechanics and Quantum Field Theory and show how to curve space time by using these type of deformations.
