The double copy: Gravity from gluons

RESUMEN: The Bern-Carrasco-Johansson (BCJ) double copy relates the scattering amplitudes of perturbative gauge theories, like Yang-Mills, and gravity. In this talk, I will review the basics and the outlook of this formalism, including extensions to classical physics, and the prospect of applying its principles to gravitational waves physics.
