Flipped no-scale inflation

Marcos A. García-García (Rice)

RESUMEN: No-scale supergravity emerges from generic string compactifications and yields a non-negative potential, making it a compelling framework for constructing models of inflation. In my talk I will discuss its embedding in a flipped SU(5) GUT, and I will show how this model can address it 'almost all': Starobinsky-like SU(N,1) inflation with natural initial conditions, neutrino masses/mixings in accordance with present data, stable enough protons, non-thermal lepto/baryogenesis and dark matter production modulated by the GUT phase transition, a non-standard thermal history, and a LHC-attainable SUSY spectrum, among other nice features.
